A local telehealth company is bringing faster Covid-19 testing to the Charlotte area.
Cornelius-based MedCall Advisors, which provides virtual emergency care, is partnering with MicroGenDX to build and ship Covid-19 test kits. The MicroGenDX lab can process samples within a day, with patients receiving the results in about two days.
“We’re able to do it … faster because this is all we do,” said MicroGenDX CEO Rick Martin.
